Gilmac is Australia's leading hay exporter, responsible for one quarter of all Australian hay exports, with major markets in Asia. Testament to our rapidly growing business, we have 6 Hay Processing plants across 3 states. Our hay processing plant currently has multiple vacancies for fulltime Hay Plant Operators/Maintainers. Accommodation options for drive in drive out and permanent housing. Role has an immediate start date and is permanent full time.
Responsibilities
* Plant Operators are hands on, running and maintaining the hay processing plant, housekeeping and participate in plant safety, quality and performance.
* They setup, operate, trouble shoot, service and maintain both fixed and mobile hay plant and equipment.
* Working in teams on rotating shift from 12 hour day shifts to 12 hour night shifts week about.
* Roles include telehandler operator, forklift driver, fixed plant operator maintainer.
Qualifications
* No experience? We are still interested to hear from you - we provide a full training program.
* Committed to safety.
* Able to work both day and night rotating 12 hour shifts for up to 5 consecutive days.
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical.
Compensation
Base starting rate $40 per hour.
