The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2028 will be the biggest cricket world cup ever staged in the southern hemisphere – and this is your chance to be part of it!

Co‐hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and operated by a Local Organising Committee (LOC) on behalf of Cricket Australia and New Zealand Cricket, the tournament will bring together the world's best teams and players, millions of fans and two nations passionate about delivering unforgettable global events. Across October and November 2028, cricket's fastest and most exciting format will take centre stage on a truly global platform.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting time for us as we build our team to deliver the world cup. The Head of Ticketing & Hospitality is responsible for establishing and leading the ticketing and hospitality functions. This is a critical commercial leadership role responsible for the pricing and sales strategy that underpins the LOC's key revenue streams.

Maximising sales, attendance and profitability for tournament matches is critical to the event's success. So, if you consider yourself a commercially astute, inspirational leader, we want to hear from you. We have big ambitions to deliver the greatest world cup ever, so we're looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.

The position is a fixed‐term opportunity running until December 2028.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Relevant tertiary qualifications: Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Sports Administration or related discipline.
* 10+ years of relevant experience working across the sporting, major events and entertainment industry, including: developing sales growth strategies and implementation, including national pricing and yield optimisation strategies, leveraging data and insights to inform development and execution of sales and marketing plans, and leading and developing operational management and sales channel teams.
* High degree of commercial and business acumen with in‐depth knowledge of ticketing systems and venues in Australia and/or New Zealand.
* Ability to lead and inspire a collaborative and high‐performing team.
* Extremely detail‐oriented with excellent organisational and project management skills, as well as the ability to resolve issues independently.
* Creative and dynamic thinker that's motivated, enthusiastic and prepared to challenge the status quo.
* Ability to establish strong and mutually beneficial relationships, with proven experience in influencing senior executives across multiple functional areas.
* Excellent budget management and financial smarts to analyse performance and effect change.
