Who we're looking for:
Strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, VMware), Windows Server administration, RHEL administration, OEL administration, SOE development, scripting and automation, and ITIL best practices.
You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide strategic input to enhance infrastructure support processes, including SOE development, delivery, and sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional teams to capture SOE requirements.
Develop high-level designs for new server builds, sustainment strategies, roadmaps, patching, and major version upgrades.
Develop Windows, RHEL, and OEL images as per the requirements.
Deploy test VMs and facilitate cross-functional testing.
Transition SOE images to the BAU / operations team.
Lead and manage a team of Infrastructure Analysts and Coordinators, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents, problem management, and change implementation.
Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or eligible to obtain one, to handle sensitive information and maintain high security standards.
On-call and Shift Expectations: Positions require flexibility to work in shifts and be on call to support client IT systems, including after-hours deployment activities.
