Operate, Maintain and Improve
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Glasshouse Mountains Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter / boilermaker, or ample relevant experience. This role will be a day shift position – with a 5am start and 5pm finish, Monday to Friday! Friday and Saturdays are paid as overtime.
In Your New Role With Us, You Will
Conducting general fixed-plant maintenance Inspection and maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes Communicating and planning repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand Executing repairs as per scheduled timeline Monitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance

Applicants will need to be experienced in crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background) Preferences are for trades qualified in fitter/boilermaker Will need to be fit – constant manual handling Need to be able to work within a small crew Willingness to listen and learn Must be reliable Hold a current drivers license Hold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications Are committed to Zero Harm and a safe working culture
