Synergie is hiring a Retail Assistant for a butcher shop in Thebarton: serve customers, take orders, prep products & join a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
* Serve customers at the counter and over the phone.
* Take, prepare, and package orders for pickup or delivery.
* Operate the cash register and handle payments.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the shop.
* Refill and organise displays and stock.
* Support the team with general shop duties.
Experience / Skills:
* Customer service experience, ideally in retail or food service
* Experience handling meat or raw products preferred
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
Work Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm / 4:00 pm. Overtime may be required
