Physiotherapist - Emergency Department
The role involves providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in the emergency department, focusing on their needs and experiences.
* Develop a comprehensive physiotherapy service that addresses the needs of patients presenting to the emergency department.
* Collaborate with medical, nursing, and community teams to provide patient-centred care.
* Provide advanced physiotherapy skills and treatments to patients with complex conditions, including musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, gerontology, and neurological disorders.
* Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures for physiotherapy practice.
* Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate-level students in physiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise within the emergency department environment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive patient care.
* Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for physiotherapy practice.
Requirements
* Experienced physiotherapist with advanced skills and knowledge in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, gerontology, and neurological disorders.
