We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Administration professional to join our Commercial leadership team and contribute to the success of our major projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing head and subcontracts on large building projects, as well as demonstrated expertise in leading subcontractor/trade administration.
Key responsibilities include:
* Cost and head contract management
* Establishing appropriate management plans in line with head contract risk and opportunities
* Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules across multiple trades throughout the project lifecycle
* Progress claims and variations
* Demonstrating understanding of construction practices, sequencing of methodology and value of building-related goals (materials and services)
* Cost and project reporting via various systems - training provided
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A senior-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set, with extensive experience in managing head and subcontracts on large building projects
* A proven track record of leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
* An industry-relevant degree qualification
* Familiarity with Contract Law principles & construction-specific Acts, codes and Regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions, while also being process and system appreciative
