Job Description:
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Council's ICT Infrastructure and Cyber Security team.
The successful candidate will have expertise in managing risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws, and developing an ongoing cybersecurity program of work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effective leadership of the ICT Infrastructure and Cyber Security team including;
Cybersecurity: Continuously observe the cybersecurity landscape to develop and implement an ongoing cybersecurity program of work.
* Coordination and delivery of ICT infrastructure systems and services, including;
Infrastructure Management: Perform routine ICT infrastructure maintenance. Operational management of the network (LAN/WAN) and service application environments. Access and recommend improvements to infrastructure operations.
* Project Delivery, including;
Risk Management: Managing risks in accordance with the Council's Integrated Risk Management System.
