About The Role In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the integration of a major government programme, with a primary focus on managing the programme schedule. You will work closely with the Programme Governance Manager to analyse and manage key dependencies that impact the programme's critical path and milestones. You'll need strong relationship-building skills to ensure alignment and collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders. A key part of your role will also be to identify, evaluate, and manage project risks to keep the programme on track.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the integration of a major government programme with a primary focus on managing the programme schedule.
* Work closely with the Programme Governance Manager to analyse and manage key dependencies affecting the programme's critical path and milestones.
* Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks to keep the programme on track.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
What You'll Bring
* Proven ability to establish, manage, and report on project timelines and deliverables.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports, briefs, and correspondence under tight deadlines.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally safe working environment.
* Advanced expertise in using MS Project and exceptional scheduling skills.
* Experience working within a government environment is highly desirable.
