Junior Graphic Designer – Brisbane

We're on the hunt for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design and marketing team in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional ready to dive into a vibrant, hybrid work environment.
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on bringing brands to life across diverse platforms. You'll play a crucial part in developing a wide array of design assets, from engaging digital content to impactful print materials, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence. We offer a flexible hybrid work setup, allowing you to collaborate with your team in our Brisbane office three days a week and enjoy the flexibility of working from home for two days.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in creating on-brand graphics for marketing campaigns, websites, social media, email newsletters, and print.
* Work alongside senior designers on layout, image retouching, asset preparation, and file management.
* Resize and adapt creative assets for various channels and platforms.
* Help maintain and evolve our brand guidelines across all visual materials.
* Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to deliver timely design solutions.
* Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of Figma or Canva is a plus.
* Strong visual sense, with attention to typography, layout, and colour.
* Basic understanding of digital design principles (social media formats, responsive design, etc.).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and design skills (required).
Preferred but not required
* Experience with video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects).
* Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS or website CMS platforms.
* Illustration or motion graphics experience.
