Myer is seeking a Category Buyer to join the Beauty team and take ownership of the Bath & Body portfolio. Bath & body is no longer just functional—it’s becoming a space of ritual, wellness, and everyday luxury. From body care and fragrance layering to sensorial experiences and self-care, this category is being redefined. You will be responsible for curating a compelling brand portfolio, identifying emerging trends, and delivering commercial growth while building a point of view that resonates with today’s customer. Work with an iconic retailer and world-renowned Beauty category Fantastic opportunity to further develop your Buying career Flexible hybrid working from our centrally-located Docklands office & the comfort of your own home About the Opportunity: Define and execute the category strategy for Bath & Body across all channels Identify, onboard and scale new and emerging brands alongside established partners Build a customer-led assortment that spans entry to luxury, with a strong point of view Full accountability for trading the category and implementing appropriate tactical activities in relation to sales, profit, stock to drive business outcomes Maintaining solid competitor and trend analysis to remain relevant and build a range to suit the market and Myer customer segmentation Apply advanced negotiation skills to achieve optimal trading terms that deliver commercial targets Work collaboratively with the planning team to determine assortment plans, conduct PSA, build product strategy, and determine best sourcing methods for the product Partner with marketing to create compelling campaigns and in-store experiences Build strong relationships with brands to unlock exclusives, innovation and growth About you: Proven experience in buying, brand management or category management (beauty or adjacent preferred) A deep passion for beauty, with a clear understanding of trends, brands and customer behaviour A brand building mindset to brand relationship management.
