Our client is currently seeking a Leading Hand to join their busy food manufacturing business located in Silverwater.

Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of production workers
Organise daily tasks including training new staff
Ensure daily production targets are met
Coordinate changeovers, line setups and production transitions
Report production issues to supervisors and maintenance teams
Ensure all products meet food safety and quality standards
Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures
Health and safety – enforce safety procedures
Identify and report hazards or near issues
Complete daily production and performance reports
Promote good manufacturing practices (GMP)
Computer operation
Handling pork and beef (raw and cooked)
Qualifications
Experience working within a food manufacturing environment
Supervisory experience
HACCP and GMP
Availability to work afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 2pm starts
Reliability and great work ethic
Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
