Our Client
Our client is a key government agency in a large-scale portfolio designed to bring together Australia’s law enforcement, national and transport security and multicultural affairs. They provide the central coordination, strategy and policy in relation to cyber security and infrastructure resilience, immigration and border security, counterterrorism, protection of sovereignty and citizenship.
The Role
This opportunity will see you working within a fast-paced delivery environment supporting both project and BAU testing activities across complex technical systems. The successful candidate will contribute to sprint planning, technical testing execution, defect management and stakeholder collaboration while supporting continuous improvement within the testing function.
Your duties will include:
* Participating in sprint planning and project testing activities
* Developing and executing comprehensive test cases and technical test scripts
* Managing defects, analysing test progress and maintaining defect registers
* Supporting technical back-end testing activities across complex systems
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and mentoring team members where required
Skills and Experience:
* Experience testing biometrics and/or identity systems
* Demonstrated experience working as a Tester
* Strong experience creating complex test cases and test data
* Demonstrated knowledge of ISTQB methodologies
* Experience performing technical back-end testing
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within Agile delivery environments
