About the Role
We're growing our Melbourne team (Airport West) and are hiring qualified Electricians across four streams:
* Leading Hand Technician
* Data & Fibre Technician (Qualified Electrician)
* Preventative Maintenance & Service Technician
* Solar Technician

Please note: A current Police Check and Working with Children Check are required for this role—these will be arranged and covered by QA Electricalprior to commencement.
Hourly rate:
$43-$55 per hour + applicable allowances (based on experience and qualifications)- In accordance with the respective Enterprise Agreement.

What you'll be doing (depending on stream)
Leading Hand Technician
* Lead small service teams and apprentices across multi-site commercial clients.
* Coordinate day-to-day service calls, minor works, and compliance tasks.
* Ensure safety, documentation accuracy, and quality workmanship.
* Develop and maintain efficiency and quality control processes to meet company and client needs.
Data & Fibre Technician (Qualified Electrician)
* Install and terminate structured cabling (Cat6/6A) and fibre (SM/MM).
* Verify installations and provide warranties using Fluke test equipment.
* Support switch, rack, and patching works in schools and commercial facilities.
* Complete accurate job records and client handover documentation.
* Experience with CCTV, access control and alarm systems highly favourable.
Preventative Maintenance & Service Technician
* Deliver planned electrical maintenance consisting of appliance tagging, thermal scanning, RCD and emergency light testing.
* Identify remedial works and raise quotes/variations for client approval.
* Maintain asset registers and compliance reports using cloud-based systems.
* Respond to reactive service requests and deliver small projects.
Solar Technician
* Undertake installation works or solar battery and other sustainable energy solutions.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
* Complete audits and corrective works for clients existing installations.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
* A‑Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (preferred)
* Strong communication, safety focus, and pride in workmanship
* Digital literacy for job tracking and documentation
* Experience liaising directly with clients and have ability to work independently
* Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical
*Bonus points if you have verified experience in any of the streams mentioned above
*Applicants with both Solar and Leadership experience will be shortlisted
