Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of HQE Manager. The prime objective of this position is to deliver exceptional service to our clients and facilitate effective management, coordination, and control of Health Safety Quality Environment (HSQE) obligations.
This involves implementing and maintaining HSQE systems and processes in our remote Accommodation Villages, providing operational support, developing and executing HSQE campaigns, collaborating with clients, and conducting risk management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma or Certificate IV in Occupational Safety & Health
* Additional qualifications in Risk Management, Psychosocial Risk Management, Auditing, Training & Assessment, and Food Safety are desirable
* Unrestricted Australian Driver's licence
* Senior First Aid certification
Candidates must possess significant experience in a similar role, an in-depth understanding of WHS legislation, and expertise in incident investigations and corrective actions. Advanced computer, numeracy, and literacy skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes on-site in our remote Accommodation Villages
* Support Operations: Collaborate with Operations Managers in conducting safe operations and implementing the safety management system
* Develop Campaigns: Drive HSQE campaigns and injury prevention initiatives targeting key risk areas
* Client Collaboration: Partner with Operations Managers to address client needs and expectations
* Safety Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor safety plans, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
* Risk Management: Conduct risk management processes to aid effective decision-making and safe operations
* Incident Investigations: Facilitate accident/incident investigations and maintain records and statistics
Experience Required
Suitable candidates should have significant experience in a similar role, ideally with ISO standards – Quality 9001, Safety 45001, Environment 14001, and expertise in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
