About This Role
Your new role:
As a Senior Pharmacist (Cancer), you will deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services within the Cancer Care and Day Therapy Units across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service. You will work with a high-functioning multidisciplinary team to optimise medication management, support safe cancer treatment delivery, and contribute to service development, education and quality improvement initiatives.
In This Role, You Will
* Deliver advanced cancer pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients
* Act as a clinical reference point within the cancer pharmacy team
* Develop and review evidence-based clinical practices and protocols
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research
* Supervise, support and educate junior pharmacists and students
* Participate in a 7-day roster, extended hours and on-call services
About You
You are an experienced pharmacist with strong clinical judgement, cancer expertise and the confidence to work with a high degree of professional autonomy in a complex care environment.
You Will Bring
* Extensive experience in cancer pharmacy practice
* Strong clinical decision-making and patient-centred care skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines
* Experience contributing to service improvement and education
* Commitment to mentoring and developing less experienced staff
* Registration with AHPRA and eligibility to work across multiple sites

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
