The Opportunity The Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is seeking an experienced and dedicated manager to lead its Road Safety Strategy team who will thrive in a positive, collaborative and flexible work environment. The core purpose of the Road Safety Policy and Reform Directorate is to develop and implement policy in the areas of road safety, vehicle registration, driver licensing, heavy vehicles, transport innovation and passenger transport to deliver benefits and outcomes for customers, the community and the economy and to provide advice across the Department. Qualifications/Experience Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience is essential. Special Conditions Prior to employment with the Department the successful candidate will be required to provide: A National Police Check (NPC) which must be renewed every three years. A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required. Remuneration MAS3 - $127,859 pa superannuation.
