About the Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading brokerage on the Gold Coast, currently settling in excess of $60M per month. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Broker Support Officer to take ownership of the loan pipeline and drive settlements across a high-performing broking team. This is a pivotal role suited to a technically strong lending professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where volume, accuracy, and turnaround times are critical to success. The Role As a Broker Support Officer, you will oversee the progression of loan applications from structuring through to settlement, ensuring momentum is maintained across a substantial pipeline. Working closely with brokers and mortgage managers, you will take responsibility for deal structuring, serviceability calculations, pre-submission strategy, and lender negotiations. You will act as the operational lead across each file, coordinating key stakeholders and proactively managing timeframes to ensure consistent settlement outcomes. This is more than an administrative support function — it is a hands-on, technically involved role where your lending expertise directly impacts performance and results. Key Responsibilities Structure loan scenarios, calculate borrowing capacity, and assess serviceability Oversee end-to-end loan progression from pre-submission to settlement Conduct thorough compliance and document verification checks Liaise directly with lenders to influence assessment outcomes and turnaround times Manage key relationships with clients and third-party stakeholders Drive pipeline performance, reporting, and settlement tracking Maintain CRM integrity and ensure adherence to compliance standards Identify workflow efficiencies and contribute to operational improvements About You You are an experienced lending professional who understands how to manage high settlement volumes without compromising accuracy or compliance. You are commercially minded, solutions-focused, and confident dealing directly with lenders and complex scenarios.
