Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our amazing kitchen teams at Club Parramatta and Castle Hill RSL. We have opportunities in our Function/Event Kitchens.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
* Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning
* Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
* Ability to contribute to menu planning
* Immaculate presentation and grooming
* Ability to handle large service numbers
* Exceptional customer care and service skills and knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
* Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
* Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
* Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
* Should be able to control and manage daily kitchen functions
KEY QUALITIES
* A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
* Be flexible with working hours
* A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour
