This flexible role is perfect for someone looking to balance work and home life while applying their tax expertise. You’ll be responsible for preparing individual tax returns in a professional and collaborative environment.This part-time role offers flexible work options (minimum 15 hours per week). We’re happy to work with you to create a schedule that suits you, including your work days and the option to work both in the office and from home.What You'll DoPrepare basic individual tax returns, including work-related deductions, investment income, rental properties, and capital gains.Ensure accuracy with minimal review points.Use Xero software to manage client tax data.Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues.Assist with BAS preparation, GST, and liaising with the ATO (if you have prior experience with these).What You'll BringExperience in preparing individual tax returns.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team.Great communication skills and a client-focused approach.Willingness to learn and receive additional training as needed.The following are desirable but not essential:Experience with BAS preparation, GST, and ATO compliance.
