About the Role: As the Wellbeing & Events Manager, you will play a central role in delivering an exceptional student living experience.
You'll design and execute engaging programs that foster wellbeing, community, and connection, while ensuring high-quality service standards across every initiative.
Working closely with Community and Leasing teams, you'll align events and programs with our brand, resident engagement goals, and broader business objectives.
This role also provides leadership and oversight to our casual events team, including scheduling, training, supervising, and monitoring performance to ensure seamless delivery of programs and events.
Based at our newest student accommodation sites in Sydney, you'll be at the forefront of creating a vibrant, inclusive residential community where students can truly feel at home.
Key Responsibilities: Design & Deliver: Create and lead inclusive, high-quality social, wellness, and educational events that reflect resident interests and build community.
Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight of casual team members, including rostering, training, supervising, and tracking performance.
Community Care: Support resident wellbeing through proactive engagement, incident follow-up, and partnerships with local/university support services.
Vendor Engagement: Build relationships with vendors, contractors, and local businesses to enhance resident life and deliver value-added initiatives.
Operations & Compliance: Manage event budgets, ensure compliance with policies and WHS standards, and capture reporting on attendance, satisfaction, and outcomes.
Marketing & Outreach: Collaborate with internal teams to promote events across digital and onsite channels, ensuring alignment with marketing and leasing objectives.
About You: You're an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in event management, hospitality, or community engagement.
You enjoy leading others and thrive in dynamic, people-focused environments.
With strong organisational skills and a solutions-driven mindset, you balance creativity with operational discipline.
Above all, you are passionate about creating inclusive and impactful resident experiences.
Requirements: Experience in event management, hospitality, or student/community engagement.
Previous experience in leading or supervising casual/part-time teams.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working flexibly, including some evenings or weekends for event delivery.
Eligible for a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
