Overview
Principal Solutions Engineer – Application Access Governance (AAG) - APJ. As a key member of the Revenue Team, the Client Solution Advisor leads the sales strategy and drives growth for the AAG product line with a focus on the SAP ecosystem. This individual contributor role supports regional sales teams by leading sales presentations, training, and developing strategies to expand the customer base and maximise revenue. The candidate collaborates with product, partners, product marketing, and sales teams to execute the go-to-market strategy and contribute to profitable subscription revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Strategy for AAG: Lead the development and execution of the sales strategy for Saviynt's AAG solution, aligning with enterprise risk, compliance, and digital transformation priorities.
- Sales Execution and Revenue Growth: Deliver profitable subscription revenue growth, support regional sales teams in structuring complex AAG opportunities (SoD, emergency access, access certification), and co-develop AAG pipeline with global systems integrators and regional advisory firms.
- Scaling & Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the AAG sales lifecycle from scoping to customer success handoff; collaborate with operations, marketing, and enablement to improve forecasting, pipeline velocity, and win rates; introduce KPIs for adoption and expansion across SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
- Field Enablement & Specialist Training: Build and deliver enablement programs for Sales Directors, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success Managers; translate technical capabilities into business value messaging for audit, risk, and CIO stakeholders; create content such as battlecards, competitor tear-downs, ROI calculators, and use-case blueprints focused on application access governance.
- Customer Advocacy & Strategic Feedback Loop: Act as a senior advocate for enterprise customers leveraging AAG; surface product feedback to product and engineering; collaborate with product marketing on differentiated thought leadership and market-facing content; advise top-tier customers on strengthening control frameworks and audit readiness using AAG.
What you bring
- Proven track record in selling identity-centric security, application access governance, or GRC technologies, with a focus on ERP or cloud ecosystems
- Preferred: 4+ years’ experience implementing or selling solutions addressing SoD, privileged access management within applications, and audit compliance
- Deep understanding of risk, controls, and regulations such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and how AAG supports adherence
- Strong familiarity with ERP/EHR/CRM systems and their security models — including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Oracle EBS, Workday, EPIC, Salesforce — and managing identity and access risk across them
- Ability to build and execute sophisticated sales strategies that drive scalable ARR growth and land-and-expand in regulated industries
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with CFO, CIO, CISO, audit, and GRC audiences
- Experience aligning product, field sales, customer success, and technical specialists in a remote-first, fast-paced SaaS environment
- Strong business acumen to connect AAG capabilities to audit findings, compliance gaps, or digital transformation priorities
- Willingness to travel for key customer engagements and field enablement events as needed
- Bonus: Experience with Converged Identity Platforms or end-to-end Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions
