Heavy Diesel Mechanic Job
This role is perfect for a skilled mechanic looking to work with heavy diesel vehicles. If you have experience maintaining and repairing diesel engines, this could be the ideal job for you.
The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in diesel mechanics, preferably with certification in heavy vehicle road transport. They will also need to have proven experience in maintaining a fleet of trucks, including servicing and repairing diesel engines and heavy truck equipment. Automotive diagnostic skills, specifically with European manufacturers, are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with CANBUS technology and have knowledge of current Land Materiel Safety Manual and ADF technical regulatory requirements.

* Responsibilities:
* Conduct diagnosis and repairs on RDA supported vehicles at various sites
* Document work order information in RDA ERP/ISSDB & customer systems MILIS / SAP
* Be the face of our brand when engaging with customers/stakeholders
* Monitor and check repair progress of supported vehicles and associated mission systems
* Resolve requests for warranty settlement topic completeness, accuracy and plausibility
* Provide Maintenance Advisory Services as a subject matter expert on Rheinmetall products
* Undertake acceptance and documentation of technical inquiries from customers/end users
* Perform technical investigations associated with faults or damages of equipment
* Prepare reports associated with technical investigations, including technical inspection reports or technical briefs
