Essential Qualifications:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
* Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
* First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Essential Skills and Attributes:
* Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children
* Understanding of developmental milestones and children's needs across various age groups
* Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to work as part of a diverse team
* Adaptability to various situations and needs in an early childhood setting
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
* Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years
* Understanding of standards and assessment processes to ensure quality service
* Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs
* Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development
* Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar
