An exciting new partnership between St Vincent de Paul Society and The Salvation Army is bringing vital Alcohol and Other Drugs and Domestic and Family Violence services to Wagga Wagga. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, community focused response that supports people on their recovery journey with dignity and respect.
As an AOD and DFV Care Navigator, you will deliver person led, strengths based support to individuals accessing recovery services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help break down barriers to care, reduce stigma and ensure clients feel heard, supported and empowered.
Requirement
* TAFE Certificate IV in welfare or a related field
* Experience supportingvulnerable and marginalised populations, including those affected byDFV and AOD challenges
* Strongcommunication, crisis response, and advocacy skills
* Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
