AWX are currently seeking reliable forklift drivers and labourers for various clients in the Southwest Brisbane and Ipswich area. These positions will be Monday to Friday casual but on-going for the right fit.
In order to be successful for these roles, you must possess the following:
- A great attitude towards work, reliability and ability to follow instructions
- Be physically fit and able to do repetitive heavy lifting
- Driver's license & own transport
- Pass a drug and functional capacity assessment
- Full workings rights in Australia
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
Additionally for the forklift role you will require:
- A valid Australian LF forklift licence
- Current or previous experience working within a cold room/freezer environment
- Extensive experience in loading and unloading trucks with the use of a forklift
- Availability to work day shifts from 5am Monday to Friday
- Current Q Fever or willing to undergo your Q Fever vaccination
