Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, this role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of a large range strategic payments projects.
At the heart of this role is your ability to learn, share, and grow while managing a variety of projects across the full delivery lifecycle. You'll work with stakeholders across all levels—both internally and externally—to ensure every initiative is aligned with Indue's best practice delivery framework. Your guidance will ensure stakeholders are informed, expectations are realistic, and outcomes exceed expectations.
Responsibilities for the role include:
* Engage all relevant internal and external stakeholders and ensure transparent communication throughout the project delivery.
* Deliver complex projects through the project life cycle from initiation, execution to closure, focussing on scope definition, resourcing, budget, supplier and client management, risks, and issues.
* Manage and Control Sponsor and Executive expectations via transparent SteerCO and Board reporting and timely maintenance of key project management artefacts.
* Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving to proactively mitigate project risks and roadblocks
* Champion compliance and governance as a subject matter expert in Project Management and delivery.
About You
You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
* Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, IT or Project Management
* 7+ years' experience as a Senior Project Manager and/or Program Manager supporting the effective delivery of programs or projects
* Enjoys juggling multiple complex projects concurrently
* Highly adept at stakeholder communication, influence, and expectation management
* Extensive experience in Hybrid project delivery, managing projects through both Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
* Superior written and verbal communication, plus an unwavering commitment to quality
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence
Additional skills that set you apart:
* Experience in the delivery of large/complex payments projects in the Cards, New Payments Platform, Mobile, or Financial Crimes space.
* PMBOK or Prince2 Certification
* ITIL knowledge/experience
