Job Expectations

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for an Executive Manager Credit and Collection Services. This role will report to the General Manager Revenue Operations.

A bit about your role

As the Executive Manager Credit and Collection Services, you will hold enterprise accountability for protecting and optimising nbn’s financial position through the end‑to‑end leadership of credit management, collections and recoverable damages. You will lead a specialised team responsible for telco and non‑telco collections, working closely with customers and partners to ensure balanced outcomes that support both financial integrity and strong commercial relationships. Your remit will also include overseeing recoverable damage investigations, ensuring costs associated with asset damage are managed and recovered.

In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders across the business, operating confidently within a complex regulatory environment. You will guide the function through significant transformation, balancing business‑as‑usual delivery with major system changes. Through clear governance, thoughtful decision‑making and a focus on continuous improvement, you will help nbn strengthen its revenue operations while supporting trust, fairness and transparency across the ecosystem.

A bit about you

You are a senior leader with deep experience in credit and collections and a proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams. You bring confidence in managing complex, cross‑functional change and are comfortable operating in environments shaped by regulation, scrutiny and competing priorities. Your leadership style is inclusive and supportive, and you are particularly skilled at coaching and developing team members, to build capability and confidence.

Your approach is pragmatic and forward‑looking, with experience in process improvement and an openness to leveraging automation and emerging technologies to improve outcomes. With your resilience, commercial acumen and collaborative mindset, you will play a key role in safeguarding nbn’s financial sustainability while supporting long‑term partnerships and organisational success.
