Westernport Sand and Soil has been operating for over 30 years with experienced and friendly staff. We are currently looking for an experienced and organised Twinsteer driver to join our wholesale team.
About the role
We are looking for the right candidate to help us supply stock to our yard and our customers. We pick up products from a variety different quarries all over Victoria and deliver to a multitude of sites across the state. The ideal candiate would have experience with picking up materials from quarries and have a friendly attitude towards customers.
Your day will involve:
* Delivery of quarry materials to customers and our sites.
* Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as required.
* Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials.
* Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.
What are we looking for?
* Current HR licence.
* Proven experience driving heavy rigid (HR) trucks.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations.
