Overview
The Senior Analyst – Health Services Funding and Budget is responsible for provision of analysis and advice related to public Local Health Networks annual budgets. The objectives of the role are to:
* Support the implementation and improvement of the department's approach to monitoring and assessing Local Health Networks (LHNs) budget management and performance.
* Oversee and support the monitoring and tracking of in year funding allocations made to LHNs to ensure sector wide budget monitoring is up to date.
* Coordinate the development of annual budget submissions to government based on financial modelling and system demand estimation methodologies.
* Provide data driven insights, analysis, and modelling as related to budget performance across the LHN system.
* Support performance leads and other key stakeholders to identify productivity and efficiency performance risks for individual agencies, programs and at whole of system level.
* Support data informed commissioning and funding allocations across all hospital-based program streams.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
Criminal History Screening Requirement
A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
