Overview

Up to $31.83 p/h + 25% casual loading + Super. Great opportunity for a Certificate III Qualified Educator. Working preschool hours and during school terms.

About the Chance

Uniting Preschool Murwillumbah operates during school terms and provides a warm and welcoming service with stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs are designed to inspire children’s desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Certificate III Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.

Your work may include:

- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and the community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interests, strengths and abilities.

Who we’re looking for

- Must have completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, with previous on‑the‑job experience (preferred).
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- Demonstrated experience with programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard).
- Be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
