Electrician Job no: 50000359 Work type: Full Time Location: Brisbane - South Our corrugated board plant based in Carole Park, Brisbane has an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our team. You will work with PLC controlled systems, a variety of packaging plant and some of the latest servo-controlled Corrugating and Converting machines. Shift details: Fixed afternoon shift, Monday to Friday Pay details: Hourly rate 20% shift loading OT What you’ll do: Completing scheduled proactive maintenance across all plant and machinery on site Reacting to machine breakdowns, keeping downtime to a minimum Troubleshooting in Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7 Simatic Manager and Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 programs Troubleshooting and repairs to electrical equipment including, variable frequency AC and DC drives, PLC and relay control systems, printed circuit boards, and all other equipment in the cardboard Corrugating and Converting process Updating and maintaining records via MEX maintenance portal Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team Miscellaneous duties as required What you will bring to the team: A Grade Electrical License Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Proactive attitude and willingness to learn What you’ll love when you join us: Employee Benefits: Access to a range of health, wealth, and lifestyle services and discounts Supportive Environment: Join a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration Career Growth: Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the company Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling.
