Drive growth by partnering with builders to help them build stronger, straighter, smarter homes.
Join an Australian manufacturing leader innovating towards better framing solutions.
About the Opportunity
Hitek Steel Framing is reshaping how Australian homes are built — delivering precision-engineered steel frame and truss systems that are straighter, stronger, and built to last.
We're looking for a Builder Partnerships Manager for our NSW division — winning new builder accounts while building the kind of genuine, long-term partnerships that turn first projects into ongoing pipeline.
This is a hybrid role: part hunter, part trusted advisor. You'll open doors, close deals, and then walk alongside builders as they transition to more reliable, efficient framing systems.
The Role
You'll identify and engage builders who want better structural framing outcomes.
Your role will be to:
* Identify, prospect, and convert new residential builder accounts across NSW, building a strong pipeline aligned to growth targets
* Develop long-term, commercially productive relationships with builders, designers, and supervisors
* Negotiate supply agreements, pricing, and project terms that work for both the builder and the business
* Support builders through the journey of adopting steel framing into their workflow, ensuring strong onboarding and project success
* Host builder sessions, site demonstrations, and project walkthroughs that focus on problem-solving, value creation, and conversion
* Collaborate with in-house design and estimating teams to deliver smart, buildable, commercially sound solutions
* Track activity, pipeline, and account performance through the CRM, and report on progress against growth targets
* Provide market intelligence and practical site insights to help refine systems, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
* Represent Hitek at industry events, expos, and key customer engagements
About You
You're commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and technically credible — equally comfortable opening a new account and standing on a slab talking through a build sequence.
You'll thrive here if you:
* Have a proven business development or technical sales track record in construction or engineered building products
* Can build pipeline from a standing start and confidently manage a deal from first conversation through to signed agreement
* Understand construction workflows, build sequences, and site dynamics
* Can read plans and translate technical detail into commercial value
* Are skilled at negotiation, pricing conversations, and managing long sales cycles
* Enjoy being on-site, solving real-world problems, and finding better ways to build
* Are self-directed, organised, and disciplined about pipeline and follow-through
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in timber or steel framing/truss systems
* A trade, estimating, or construction background
* An existing network within NSW's residential builder community
What We Offer
* A collaborative, forward-thinking team committed to real change in the industry
* Full product and technical training provided
* Clear runway to grow as the business expands nationally
