The Deakin University School of Psychology is seeking a Professor to bring academic leadership and high-level research expertise. The successful candidate will specialise in any area of psychology, with clinical/mental health expertise particularly welcome.
The role involves leading academic programs, supervising Higher Degree by Research students, and collaborating with other researchers within the School and Faculty. A strong track record of publishing high-impact research, mentoring early-career researchers, and attracting external funding is essential.
To be successful, you'll have:
* A doctoral degree in a relevant discipline;
* Experience in mentoring postdoctoral early and mid-career researchers (EMCRs);
* Evidence of original, innovative and distinguished contribution to scholarship and teaching, research and research supervision;
* Demonstrated success as an eminent authority at the national and international level in research and scholarship through high-quality publications;
* Sustained success in obtaining competitive external research grants; and
* Excellence in engagement with research, community, industry and government.
Registration as a psychologist (AHPRA) is desirable.
