About the role:
We are currently seeking Chemistry/Chemical Engineering graduates to work within the Waste Management Industry on an on-going full-time hours contract position. The position is located in the southern suburbs of Perth.
Monday to Friday - 7am to 5pm
Penalty rates apply
Opportunities to work Saturdays if desired
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Identification and placement of different hazardous waste (manual handling of up to 20kg).
* Potential for sample preparation and basic wet chemistry testing.
* Calibrating Laboratory instruments.
* General housekeeping.
Skills & experience:
To be successful in this position you will be studying a Bachelor of Chemistry, Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or related discipline. It's a great opportunity for you to put into practice everything you have learned at University.
You will be a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have a can-do attitude. You must be passionate, show drive and initiative.
This position is to start ASAP.
