Insurance Assessors are responsible for assessing damage to insured properties and providing accurate builders assessment reports and repair budgets for insurers to review. This role requires effective communication skills, as assessors must provide clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes, and claim progress to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine policy coverage based on property loss or damage
* Communicate with stakeholders regarding claim progress and resolution strategies
* Support the Insurance Manager in identifying customer resolution strategies to minimize escalations
* Select an appropriate claim fulfillment method balancing customer needs
* Respond to customer and stakeholder requests within agreed timeframes
Requirements:
* Experience in the Building and Construction Industry preferred
* Ability to use technology and systems efficiently
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
* Willingness to travel and work out of the office
