WE'RE HIRING – CHEF (BAROSSA VALLEY)
30–38 hours per week | Casual with pathway to full-time or contract
Vino Lokal is seeking a chef who enjoys creative, seasonal cooking and thrives in a small, supportive kitchen. We're a busy 40-seat venue in Tanunda serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (Friday and Saturday nights), with a strong focus on local Barossa produce and bold, well-executed flavours.
This role suits someone who values consistency, teamwork, and working in a well-run kitchen where standards are clear and ideas are welcome. Multiple positions are available, with hours tailored to your experience and availability.
About you
You're punctual, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. You work cleanly and efficiently, communicate clearly, and are comfortable in a fast-paced service environment. You show initiative, follow systems, and take pride in doing things properly. A minimum of two years' experience in a commercial kitchen is essential. Cert III in Commercial Cookery is preferred but not required for the right applicant.
The role
You'll be cooking a small, seasonal menu, supporting menu development, and handling prep, service, and kitchen organisation. You'll work closely with our chefs and FOH team in a calm, collaborative environment.
