This isn't a CIO role.
And it's definitely not a support function.
This is a hands‐on Digital Transformation Manager role sitting at the centre of a global SAP S/4HANA environment — where clarity, ownership and delivery matter more than titles.
We're working with a globally backed FMCG business investing heavily in their enterprise systems landscape. They need someone who can own SAP-related change locally, partner closely with the business, and work with global teams to make things actually land.
What you'll actually be doing:
* Owning SAP S/4HANA initiatives across finance and enterprise systems
* Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
* Working closely with global Solution Architects (UK-based)
* Translating business priorities into structured, deliverable outcomes
* Leading system improvements, integrations and enhancements
* Supporting and mentoring a small local team
* Staying close to delivery — understanding the detail, not just overseeing it
* Helping stabilise and evolve the SAP landscape post-implementation
This is not a delegate‐and‐disappear role.
You'll need to understand the "why", challenge the "how", and deliver outcomes.

* Strong SAP S/4HANA exposure (ideally within Finance / ERP environments)
* Experience across end-to-end delivery — not just design or support
* Ability to clearly explain decisions, trade‐offs and outcomes
* Strong stakeholder engagement across business and technology
* Comfortable operating in a global, multi-stakeholder environment
* Clear, structured communication style (this one really matters)
