The role of Branch Manager - Operations & Sales Focus is available at our Mackay Showroom. This is a hands-on position requiring leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
As the successful candidate, you will oversee daily branch operations, coordinate staffing and resources, ensure operational compliance, and monitor inventory levels.
You will lead and support commercial fit-outs and delivery logistics, drive process improvement, and engage in sales activity and customer interactions as needed.
* Proven experience in operations, retail or branch management
* Strong leadership and communication skills – able to manage, train and hold a team accountable
* A practical, hands-on approach to solving problems and improving processes
* Organised, detail-focused and confident working with systems and reports
* A willingness to learn and adapt — furniture industry experience is great but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily branch operations across showroom, warehouse, logistics and admin
2. Coordinate staffing, resource allocation, and scheduling to maximise workflow efficiency
3. Ensure operational compliance with company procedures and safety standards
4. Monitor inventory levels, manage stock movement, and maintain accurate reporting
5. Lead and support commercial fit-outs and delivery logistics
6. Drive the implementation of corporate strategies and continuous process improvement
7. Coach and manage team performance with clear KPIs and accountability
8. Engage in sales activity, customer interactions and showroom presentation as needed
