Operations Manager Role
Lead a team in Wide Bay, based in Bundaberg, to shape the future of transport infrastructure in Queensland.
The Role
Manage an Operations Unit at a program level to support sustainable business performance and outcomes for the Transport and Main Roads Infrastructure Program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead programs of roads civil infrastructure works using program/project management methodologies.
2. Review project performance and coach Project Managers' professional development as a Project Director.
3. Ensure alignment between branch and Transport and Main Roads' goals and review program performance against a balanced scorecard framework.
4. Implement efficient construction practices and lead continuous improvement within the Operations Unit.
5. Develop relationships with partners, stakeholders, and suppliers and act as the first point of contact for RoadTek products and services.
6. Create a safe working environment and demonstrate commitment to our values.
7. Participate in strategic planning and integrated management decisions at regional and operational unit levels.
8. Develop a business culture committed to safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
