About The Role
We're searching for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at the Brook Hotel – the beating heart of our local community where pub classics meet plates locals can't get enough of.
A Day In The Life Of a Head Chef
* Command the kitchen, keeping it running smooth, safe, and profitable.
* Serve as a key part of the leadership crew, working closely with the Publican and FOH team.
* Share your passion, skills, and creativity to grow a high‐performing kitchen team.
* Maintain a strong connection between the kitchen and front of house, delivering good food every shift.
Inherent Requirements
* Hands‐on role that involves manual handling and lifting (moving stock, kegs, deliveries); ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About You
* Experience, confidence, and pride to own the kitchen and make it shine.
* Trade cooking qualifications and food safety certifications.
* Passion for the Head Chef life – create food people talk about and lead every day.
