SunPork Group, a leading pork producer in Australia and New Zealand, seeks an experienced Pig Farm Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of our farms, ensuring that our high standards of animal welfare and productivity are met.
The role involves managing electronic feed stations and data recording systems, as well as overseeing pig performance testing equipment and daily environmental controls. Strong leadership skills are essential, as the farm manager will be responsible for motivating and guiding a team of employees to achieve our business objectives.
In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience on a piggery is essential, as is a strong commitment to upholding the highest levels of animal welfare and biosecurity. A current Australian driver's licence and ability to work rostered weekends and public holidays are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the farm and animal management activities are consistently managed with a view to continuous improvement
* Management of electronic feed stations and data recording system, pig performance testing equipment and daily environmental controls and alarm systems
* Ensure Animal and People Welfare are always at the forefront of daily and weekly activities
