Regional Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Manager to drive our business in Queensland and contribute to our company's growth.
About the Role:
* Manage and drive our QLD business forward, identifying opportunities and building relationships in the region.
* Lead, develop, mentor, and manage our QLD team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel.
* Lead project teams, oversee projects, prepare proposals, provide geotechnical analysis, interpretation, input and reporting for projects and market sectors we operate in.
* Undertake complex and challenging geotechnical design and reporting, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Provide geotechnical advice and consult on geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff, leveraging your expertise to drive positive outcomes.
* Champion our social commitment to improving opportunities for young people facing disadvantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage budgets, teams, stakeholders, and timeframes, ensuring successful project delivery.
* Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
* Maintain strong communication and stakeholder engagement, fostering collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our services and offerings.
Requirements:
* 12+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply a risk-based approach to decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Good technical knowledge and application in soil/rock mechanics, with fieldwork experience in various geological conditions.
* Demonstrated behaviours of integrity, resilience, respect, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
* Chartered Engineer and/or RPEQ preferred, along with the right to work in Australia.
