About the Role
As the Coordinator Women's Hub - Kununurra, you will support the day-to-day operations, administration, and community engagement activities of the Kununurra Women's Hub. Working closely with the Senior Manager Employment Services and internal teams, you will help ensure programs, workshops, and activities run smoothly and respond to community needs.
This role brings together women, community members, and partner organisations, providing a welcoming, well-organised, and culturally responsive environment that supports learning, participation, and pathways into employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the Kununurra Women's Hub, including the coordination of workshops, events, and activities.
* Provide effective administration, maintaining accurate records, participant data, reports, and basic budget tracking.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with local women, community organisations, and stakeholders.
* Promote Hub activities and support community consultation to ensure programs reflect local needs.
* Create a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally safe environment for women accessing the Hub.
* Support participants with sign-ins, forms, information, and engagement in programs and pathways.
* Assist clients with onboarding to Job Pathways HR systems and support accurate submission of timesheets.
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies, quality standards, and Work Health & Safety requirements.
* Demonstrate culturally responsive practices and uphold Job Pathways' commitment to service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Experience in administration, coordination, community engagement, or program support roles.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital tools.
* Genuine interest in community development, women's empowerment, and supporting vulnerable or underrepresented groups.
Desirable
* Experience working with Indigenous communities and organisations.
* Understanding of rural or remote community contexts.
* Experience supporting workshops, events, or community programs.
What You'll Need
* Current C Class driver's licence (essential).
* National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Willingness and ability to travel, including short stays in remote locations.
