We are building a pipeline of experienced Editors available for Defence and Commonwealth government engagements. If you're a skilled editorial professional with a background in complex, regulated environments, we'd love to hear from you.
We regularly support clients across the national security and Defence sector with high-quality documentation, publication development, and writing services, and we're always looking to connect with candidates who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
* Provide structural and substantive editing, copyediting, and proofreading across a range of document types
* Deliver high-quality editorial services in complex, regulated environments
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, publication developers, and stakeholders
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years\' experience as a professional editor working with technical or complex subject matter
* Experience producing and editing substantial manuscripts to established style guides
* Able to deliver structural and substantive editing, copyediting, and proofreading across a range of document types
* Strong collaborator; comfortable working with subject matter experts, publication developers, and stakeholders
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
* Able to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines
Location: Canberra-based preferred | AGSVA NV1 minimum
