Plumbing Mentor
Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with a Plumbing trade background? In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.
This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full time Mentor.
Key accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
* Assist students with practical activities
* Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
* Ensure all equipment is in good operational condition
* Assist Trainer with Student management
Skills you need to be successful:
* Trade qualification in the Plumbing industry
* Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
* Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Good written and verbal communication
* Basic level of computer operating skills
