Key Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Sales professional with expertise in Wireline Cased-Hole Logging and Perforating operations to drive technical sales, manage client relationships, and expand market reach across Australia and internationally.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Sales Manager to create strategic sales plans, conduct client visits, and submit detailed follow-up reports outlining discussions and action plans.
The role requires regular travel (approximately 40%) to client sites, trade shows, and team events, where you will represent the company at these functions in accordance with company policy.
You will be responsible for reconnecting with dormant clients and exploring opportunities to regain their business, preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical overviews.
Additionally, you will respond to quote requests, provide timely support on pricing, delivery, and product specifications, maintain CRM records, process accurate sales orders in a timely manner, and support collection efforts by liaising with customers on overdue accounts.
A strong understanding of competitor activity and industry trends is required to succeed in this role.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, along with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally in oil & gas or energy services.
Strong knowledge of Wireline Cased-Hole Logging and Perforating operations, proven ability to build relationships and close sales in technical markets, well-versed in the Australian energy sector with strong commercial insight, excellent communication and public speaking skills, and comfortable using software for quoting, inventory, and reporting are all essential qualities for this position.
