We're looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Wydinia Kindergarten in a part-time, ongoing role, commencing Term 1, 2026. Your Week at a Glance
Schedule
Tuesday & Thursdays, 12:00pm to 5:00pm (session time 12:45pm till 4:00pm).
Total weekly hours: 10 Hours (There can be flexibility in the start and finish time due to the allocation of non-contact time).
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll design and deliver play-based programs that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll lead and mentor a team of educators, ensuring programs align with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and relevant legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate programs.
* Providing guidance and leadership to educators, students, and parent helpers.
* Building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families.
* Maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and ensuring compliance with OH&S and child safety standards.

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor or equivalent as approved by ACECQA and suitable pursuant to the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011)
* A valid VIT Registration for Early Childhood Teachers
* Knowledge of the National Education and Care Services Act and Regulations 2011 and the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework and ECEC National Quality Framework and Standards
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to different teams and settings.
* A passion for supporting children's development through creative, reflective, and responsive teaching practices.
