Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development & Urban Renewal

This is subdivision and urban renewal design within a structured engineering consultancy — where your judgement, not bureaucracy, drives delivery.
We are representing a well-established consultancy with a consistent Northern Territory pipeline across residential subdivisions, mixed-use developments and urban renewal precincts.
What You Will Be Doing
* Leading civil design across land development and infill renewal projects
* Managing roads, drainage, stormwater, earthworks and servicing strategies
* Coordinating approvals with local authorities and key stakeholders
* Working closely with 12D designers and junior engineers to deliver high-quality documentation
* Owning projects from concept through detailed design and approval

What We Are Looking For
* 5-10+ years’ experience in civil engineering within a design consultancy
* Strong land development background (greenfield subdivisions and/or urban renewal)
* Experience delivering civil documentation aligned with Australian standards
* Confidence across drainage, roads, earthworks and servicing design
* Experience working with 12D designers and multidisciplinary teams
* Stable consultancy-based career history
This Role Is Not Suited To
* Engineers working primarily in large-scale transport, rail or highway infrastructure
* Construction contractor or site-supervision-based roles
* Developer-side project management without detailed design responsibility
