A growing Managed Service Provider based around Box Hill, Melbourne, is looking for a Level 1 IT Support Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in an MSP or technical support environment who wants to develop their skills across diverse technologies and clients.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?As a Level 1 Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, resolving tickets, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring systems run smoothly.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:Providing first-line technical support across Microsoft 365, Windows desktop, and server environmentsTroubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues (routers, firewalls, switches)Installing and configuring software and systems for new usersLogging and managing tickets through the PSA system and meeting SLAsSupporting backup, security, and cloud technologies (M365, Azure, AWS, Datto)Assisting senior engineers with project rollouts and client onboardingMaintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents and resolutionsBuilding strong relationships through friendly, professional client communication
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…1–2 years’ experience in IT support, within an MSP environmentUnderstanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networkingFamiliarity with routers, switches, printers, and common hardware troubleshootingExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to learningFull working rights in Australia (Citizen or PR required)Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
IT’S NICE TO HAVE…Exposure to RMM and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne)Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledgeCertifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or CompTIA A+Experience supporting cloud or telecommunication environments
